Sally Hansen’s Global Color Ambassador Madeline Poole polished and shined backstage for the debut of Stella McCartney’s Spring 2015 collection in New York City. Poole created a flawless, modern, natural nude nail look to complement the Stella McCartney designs.

Poole also created custom nail art inspired by the superhero print prominently featured in Stella McCartney’s Spring 2015 collection. The playful, abstract nail designs echoed the saturated colors and bold graphics found in the new print.

THE NAIL LOOKS

To get the nude nail look, Madeline Poole used Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel, the new gel manicure system without the light. Miracle Gel, which delivers the look of a gel manicure without the use of LED lights, hits stores in July 2014.

“We used two coats of Bare Dare from the new Sally Hansen Miracle Gel collection,” said Madeline Poole. “We wanted to create a glassy, gel-like finish without having to cure the nails in a UV light. Bare Dare is semi sheer and lightweight, matching the airy and breathable fabrics in Stella McCartney’s Spring 2015 collection.”

For the Stella McCartney Spring 2015 superhero print inspired nail art, Madeline Poole used a combination of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel and Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear shades.

“First, could there be a more inspiring pattern for nails? The superhero fabric is full of mini patterns within itself,” said Poole. “I zoomed in on the characters and cropped the interesting curves and color combinations to make an abstract design. I absolutely loved playing with these graphic, saturated primaries.”
