Stylist Shares the Top Spring 2015 Colors

Today we’re going to pamper you like a celeb by treating you to a consultation with a personal stylist! New York stylist and personal shopper Stephanie Alexis of SA Style Studio shares her expert advice on selecting the perfect nail color and design this spring:

“This season, it’s all about classic bright and nude shades that have been modified and turned into cooler, more sophisticated versions of themselves. Cherry red, neon orange and baby pink are out; berry, canary yellow and dusty rose are in.”

“Some catwalk trends we can see transitioning into spring are: bold coral negative-space half-moon manicures, embellished 3-D manicures (which include chains, lettering, flowers, and other 3-D elements), clean white manicures with a single gold stripe, and linear nail art.”

“Nothing ushers the start of spring like warm weather and the return of playful spring nail trends. The latest nail crazes to include to your Mani Mondays are: chic corals, opaque glitters, pastels, iridescent shimmers, shy violets, matte textures, and sheer neutrals. I love the look of opaque glitter; they mimic the look of flower petals. Whether you’re going for a subdued look with translucent nudes or sultry bold colors, don’t be afraid to dress those digits up!”
