Smith & Cult Re-Releases This Sell Out Color

Smith & Cult Re-Releases This Sell Out Color

By Dale Arden Chong

You might have been blown away by the amount of chrome and holographic nails that have been taking the beauty and fashion world by storm, but if there’s anything that reigned supreme in the past season, it’s rose gold.

Whether it’s been rose gold hair, famed by Kylie Jenner, or jewelry and watches, rose gold has become a trend that is now the norm. Of course, that never leaves out nails.

Smith & Cult originally released its eight-free “1972” nail polish, an opaque, rose gold that leaves your nails looking high-class with its brushed metal finish. With rose gold being completely on-trend, it comes to no surprise that the shade sold out everywhere. Luckily for us, the beauty brand is re-releasing this limited-edition shade to give even more rose gold lovers the chance to fully get on board.  According to Smith & Cult president and co-founder Jeanne Chavez, rose gold is here to stay.
