Nail Art Tutorial: Ice Cream Nails

By James

Treat yourself to something sweet for Valentine’s Day! The weather may be cold, but this sweet treat makes us feel warm and happy on the inside. Watch step by step as Magnifique Nails shows how to do it.

  • Things you need:

  • Step 1:

Apply base coat and two coats of Floss Gloss Waterpool and let it dry.

  • Step 2:

Draw the drip outline with Essie Blanc, using the nail art brush. Then apply one coat of top coat, where the charm will be.

  • Step 3:

Place the charm on the nail, while the top coat is still wet. You can also use nail glue, if you want the charm to be secured.

  • Step 4:

Fill in the drips. You can also add little dots around the nail charm, using the tip of the nail art brush.

  • Step 5:

Using Essie Good as Gold, draw an outline on the drips. Seal the designs with top coat. Add small round rhinestones, on the drips, while the top coat is wet.

  • Step 6:

Apply a second coat of top coat to secure the rhinestone. And you’re done!
