    SLIDE 1 OF 11
  • TOOLS

    Supplies Needed:
    OPI Matte Nail Envy
    Sinful Colors Black on Black
    Sinful Colors Under 18
    Barry M Neon Green
    Hot Looks Collection Hidden
Black nail art pen and brush
    Dotting tools
    Small brush
    Gems
    Seche Vite top coat

    SLIDE 2 OF 11
  • STEP 1

Start with a clear base coat. Jade used two coats of OPI Nail Envy.

    SLIDE 3 OF 11
  • STEP 2

Paint the tips freehand, as Jade did, or use striping tape for this step. Start from about halfway down the nail, do one smooth stroke from the side to the tip at an angle. Do this on one side of the nail for all the nails. Do not worry about streaks, as adding another coat afterwards remedies this.

    SLIDE 4 OF 11
  • STEP 3

Do the same for the other side of the nail. Once again, start halfway down the nail and work towards the tip.

    SLIDE 5 OF 11
  • STEP 4

For the second coat of black, work on one nail at a time. Once again start halfway down the nail and paint at an angle to the tip. This time do not wait for the paint to dry and do both sides of the nail. While the paint is still wet, attach one of the gems at the point where the polish lines meet. Moisten the end of your dotting tool to pick up the gem and place it precisely on the nail. Leave the accent nail free.

  • STEP 5

For the roses on the accent nail use Sinful Colors Under 18 and dotting tools. Place a blob of polish onto paper or foil, and then dip the dotting tool in. Put three uneven dots on the nail.

    SLIDE 7 OF 11
  • STEP 6

Use the darker green to load the small brush up. Draw random lines around the red dots for leaves.

    SLIDE 8 OF 11
  • STEP 7

    Repeat with a lighter green.

    SLIDE 9 OF 11
  • STEP 8

Use a fine tip brush with black paint to do random swirls on the red to give the effect of petals.

    SLIDE 10 OF 11
  • STEP 9

Finally finish with a coat of clear top coat. I use Seche Vite to prevent smudging. Clean up any polish on the skin using cotton buds and remover. Done!
