The nail fashion at NYFW’s Nicole Miller was no other than a unique ombre design dubbed “glitterfall” by the look’s creator and Butter London‘s Global Colour Ambassador, Katie Jane Hughes. The theme of the runway was opulence, and brought together both fantasy and the splendor of Versailles.
The practical side of this manicure is that it’s fairly easy to do; it’s just a simple layer of two colors in an imperfect manner. Also, because the art uses only two glitter polishes, it’s fast-drying, so it cannot be messed up as easily! Now see how to create the look according to the pros.
Glitterfall Nail Art How To:
Step 1: Apply one layer of Butter London The 444 to all nails.
Step 2: To create the cascading effect, apply Butter London The Black Knight upward from the free edge of the nail.
Step 3: Dab the lacquer where the two shades meet to blend the look. Reapply The Black Knight at the tip to finish the effect.
Now we’d just like to know where to find those birdcage earrings…
