No, we’re not referring to Beyonce’s daughter. These blue ivy nails are delicately stamped with a natural pattern and coyly tied up with ribbon and pearls, all to make a cool wintery design. Click through to see Flight of Whimsy’s tutorial for the look!

  • Supplies needed:

    • Wet n' Wild I Need a Refresh Mint
    • Sinful Colors Secret Admirer
    • Hard Candy Matt-ly In Love
    • Base coat
    • Top coat
    • Light blue striping tape
    • Light blue caviar beads
    • Stamping plate: Bundle Monster #312
    • Stamper and scraper
    • Acetone for clean up

    SLIDE 1 OF 8
  • Step 1:

Begin by painting your nails with your favorite base coat, followed by two coats of Wet n' Wild I Need A Refresh Mint.

  • Step 2:

Apply Sinful Colors Secret Admirer to the flower image on Bundle Monster plate #213. Working quickly (so the polish does not dry), scrape the excess polish off with a plastic scraper and roll the stamper over the engraving. Apply the stamp to the bottom half of each nail.

  • Step 3:

Tape off a diagonal on the top half of each nail, covering the newly stamped design. Apply Sinful Colors Secret Admirer to the bottom edge of each nail. Remove the tape while the polish is still wet to achieve a clean line. Note: Make sure the stamp and base color are dry before applying tape. Press tape against the side of your hand to remove a bit of the adhesive before applying to your nail, to ensure that polish does not come off on the tape.

  • Step 4:

Starting from your cuticle, apply striping tape along the line created by the scotch tape. Clip off the free edge of striping tape with cuticle clippers or nail clippers.

    SLIDE 5 OF 8
  • Step 5:

On your accent nail, apply a thin line of topcoat along the border between the black and teal polishes. Carefully add caviar beads, starting at the cuticle. Note: It is easy to pick up the beads using a damp toothpick. The beads stick gently to the edge, but transfer nicely to the nail.

  • Step 6:

Let your manicure dry for a few minutes. The caviar beads are more likely to stick to your nail after the polish holding them in place has dried. Use this time to clean up any mess from the polish or stamping around your cuticles.

  • Step 7:

Carefully cover your manicure in Hard Candy Matt-ly In Love, ensuring that you wrap the edges of the striping tape and the caviar beads. Voilà, beaded and ribboned nails!
