Maddy Scrbic from Beyond the Nail shares how to create a fun studded nail look!

  • STEP ONE: Gather your supplies:

A solid black nail polish (For my nails, I used Black Taxi by Nails Inc.)
A clear topcoat (I used Freedom Polymer Top Coat by Julep.)
An orange wood stick (or toothpick or dotting tool)
Caviar nail microbeads (I used some sold on my etsy shop.)
        Nail studs
Optional: a blank nail set or your own nails!

    SLIDE 1 OF 5
  • STEP TWO

STEP TWO: Paint your nails with two coats of black nail polish.

    SLIDE 2 OF 5
  • STEP THREE

STEP THREE: When completely dry, paint one nail with your top coat (you will be doing one nail at a time) .

    SLIDE 3 OF 5
  • STEP FOUR

STEP FOUR: Dip your orange stick in some top coat to make it tacky so it can pick up a caviar nail microbead. Place the microbeads onto your nails one at a time while the top coat on your nails is still wet.
This is where your imagination comes in: Design each nail with a different design!

    SLIDE 4 OF 5
  • STEP FIVE

STEP FIVE: Repeat steps 3 & 4, moving onto your other nails. Paint the next nail with top coat, and use your microbeads or nail studs to finish off your look.
