Emma Watson has been making headlines lately, but of course, when has she not? The actress is currently making stops on her press tour for the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, which is already enough to give her some extra TLC, but it seems as though everyone is also honing in on her support for sustainable fashion and beauty products.
At just 26 years old, Watson has done so much more than accumulate a credible acting résumé. Taking a small hiatus from her career to study English at Brown University and to go on as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, Watson is an active feminist who also started a Goodreads book club titled Our Shared Shelf, and the list doesn’t end there.
Lately, people have been taking notice of Watson’s new Instagram account, @the_press_tour, which follows the actress as she promotes the upcoming Disney film in environmentally friendly, sustainable beauty and fashion looks.
Watson recently sat down with Into The Gloss to discuss her favorite eco-friendly products, and when it came to nails, we couldn’t help but share our excitement as she revealed some of her favorite products.
“I love, love, love having my toenails crazy colors. I use the brand Kure Bazaar, which is one of the first things like toluene, formaldehyde, synthetic camphor, but it does actually provide trend colors so it’s pretty cool,” Watson told ITG.
She also shared her go-to shade, El Capitan by vegan brand Floss Gloss. The shade is currently sold out online (could the be the beginning of the Emma Watson effect?), but don’t worry, you can sign up to get an email when it’s back!
