It’s not science to see why we love this look – the shiny green, the incredible emerald! And though this design looks like a toxic spill, the rugged quality makes us even more attracted to it. Fortunately, Spektor’s Nails, the style’s creator, shows how to recreate it for yourself in the tutorial below!

You will need:

  • China Glaze Holly-Day (a dark green crème polish)
  • Dance Legend Wazowski (a green multi-chrome polish)
  • Cup of water
  • Disinfectant spray
  • Toothpick
  • Nail polish remover
  • Top coat

Step 1: Paint your nails with your base color. Spektor’s Nails two coats of China Glaze Holly-Day. You can add tape around your nails to prevent a mess.
Step 2: Add a drop of your multi-chrome polish into the cup of water.
Step 3: Spray it with the disinfectant spray. You can vary the distance of the spray and the waiting time until dipping in your nail to create different effects!
Step 4: Dip your nail into the water and remove the polish on the surface of the water with a toothpick.
Step 5: This is what it looks like without using tape. Time for clean up!
Step 6: Add top coat and you’re done!
