  • Products Used:

    • Red Polish: Oriflame True Red
    • Green Polish: China Glaze Starboard
    • Base Coat and Top Coat: Naio UK
    • Toothpick
    • Thin nail art brush
    SLIDE 1 OF 7
  • Step 1:

Apply red nail polish over a base coat.

    SLIDE 2 OF 7
  • Step 2:

Paint multiple coats of red polish to build up the required thickness.  Apply a layer of top coat in between each coat to prevent the red from getting too dark.

    SLIDE 3 OF 7
  • Step 3:

Check the depth using a toothpick. If required, apply additional coats. The more coats, the better the finished texture will be.

    SLIDE 4 OF 7
  • Step 4:

When the polish is 90% dry, use the toothpick to create the texture. Press it gently down part of the way into the polish.

    SLIDE 5 OF 7
  • Step 5:

With the help of a thin nail art brush, draw a green curve on the cuticles.

    SLIDE 6 OF 7
  • Tips:

    1. In case you get a smudge don't start all over again. Simply apply an  additional coat.
    2. Since my polish was very thin, I applied 10 to 12 coats including top coat. Using cream polish would help get thick layer in fewer coats.
    3. Optional - You may place tiny caviar balls for the seeds.
