CutePolish has an adorable nail art tutorial prime for this July 4th! Celebrate your patriotism by following these steps and check out Michelle Phan’s ICON Network later this summer to catch new content from CutePolish!

  • Step 1

Begin by painting three of your nails with two coats of dark blue (Formula X Omni) and the other two nails with two coats of white (OPI Alpine Snow).

    SLIDE 1 OF 4
  • Step 2

Use a red nail art striper (Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Striper Red) and create vertical lines over the white nails. Optionally, you could use a thin paint brush dipped into a red nail polish to do this.

    SLIDE 2 OF 4
  • Step 3

Take the dark blue nail polish and gently glide the brush over the very top corners of the white nails to create a small rectangle.

    SLIDE 3 OF 4
  • Step 4

Use a toothpick dipped into white polish to add dots over the dark blue rectangles. Then add some red, white, and blue confetti nail polish (Formula X Liberty) over the dark blue nails. Optionally, you could use a toothpick to create little red, white, and blue dots over these nails instead.
