Blooming cherry blossoms symbolize the welcome arrival of spring! The flowering tree is a beautiful sight to see and has inspired this nail art design by Reina Santos from reireishnailart on Instagram!

  • Supplies you will need:

    China Glaze: White on White
China Glaze:  Put a Bow on it
Acrylic Paint in Black, Pink, White & Green
    A detailed nail art brush
    Seche Vite base coat
    Seche Vite top coat

    SLIDE 1 OF 9
  • Step 1:

Start off with your favorite base coat and paint your nails 2 coats of China Glaze “White on White”.  Apply Seche Vite top coat and wait for your nails to dry.

    SLIDE 2 OF 9
  • Step 2:

With your detailed nail art brush and some black acrylic paint, draw thin black curvy lines across your nail.  Draw a couple more curvy lines coming out of the first curvy line. These will be the branches.  (Note: You can make each nail look different for a more intricate effect.)

    SLIDE 3 OF 9
  • Step 3:

Using green acrylic paint and your detailed nail art brush, paint some leaves on the sides and at the tips of the “branches”.  Depending on the size of your nail, you can paint 5-7 leaves on each nail.

    SLIDE 4 OF 9
  • Step 4:

Take some pink acrylic paint and a small amount of white acrylic paint to make a light pink color. (Note: If you have 2 shades of pink, you can skip this step.)

    SLIDE 5 OF 9
  • Step 5:

Using the lighter pink acrylic paint and your detailed nail art brush, paint on the flowers one petal at a time. You can paint different sized flowers for a more detailed look.

    SLIDE 6 OF 9
  • Step 6:

Paint small dots at the tips of some of the branches.  This will give you a cherry blossom look.

    SLIDE 7 OF 9
  • Step 7:

Using the darker pink acrylic paint and your detailed nail art brush, gently outline your flower petals.

    SLIDE 8 OF 9
  • Step 8:

Dab small dots of China Glaze “Put a Bow on it” in the center of each flower.

Apply Seche Vite top coat to seal in your design.
