  • Tools and Products

    -Dotting tool, large end
    -Essie Blanc
-China Glaze Peonies & Park Ave.
-OPI I Just Cant Cope-acabana and Ogre the Top Blue
    -American Classics Gelous (as basecoat)
-New York Color Grand Central Station (as topcoat)

    SLIDE 1 OF 6
  • Steps

    1. Prep nails for color with your favorite basecoat. I used Gelous.

    2.  Paint nails with your favorite white nail polish. I like Essie Blanc.

    3.  Clean up your cuticles and add your favorite topcoat. I like New York Color Grand Central Station. (Top coat is important in this step as you will not be using it at the end.)

    SLIDE 2 OF 6
  • Steps

    4. To create the dots, dip a large dotting tool (or bobby pin) into a bright pink. I used Peonies & Park Ave. by China Glaze. Starting with the thumb, create 3 rows of dots.

    SLIDE 3 OF 6
  • Steps

    5. Continue with 2 more rows of pink dots on your pointer nail.

    SLIDE 4 OF 6
  • Steps

    6. Add one row of yellow dots to your pointer, then 3 rows of yellow dots on your middle nail, and one row of yellow dots on your ring nail. I used I Just Cant Cope-acabana by OPI.

    SLIDE 5 OF 6
  • Steps

    7. Then add 2 rows of blue dots on your ring nail and 3 rows of blue dots on your pinky nail.

    8. Do not add top coat - this will give the appearance of raised dots and will look just like those yummy candy buttons!
