Jenn Moran is a trained nail technician, a licensed aesthetician, and somehow always looks flawless. When we sought her searching for tips to putting a whole look together: nails, makeup, hair, we didn’t know what to expect — surely nail and makeup tips have all been done before? What we found instead are three killer and totally unexpected styles we’re vying to try out ourselves. Don’t believe us? See for yourself.

Hair: I’m obsessed with the braid trend. Braids look great on everyone and are a great look if you’re low on time. I'm wearing a quick side braid with a few loose ringlets hanging out to give it a whimsical look. I finished off the look with a vintage wide brim fedora.

Makeup: Set the look with Cellabel Pearl Shining Primer and apply Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation with a Beauty Blender sponge. Use NARS blush in Orgasm and MAC Soft and Gentle Mineralize Satin Finish to highlight the cheek bone and bridge of the nose.

Eyes: In the picture below, I wore two colors from the Stila In The Light eye shadow palette. Apply a light stroke of Bliss on the eyelids and also a light application of Bare on the browbone. Line upper eyelids with the color Perversion from Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil and finish off the look with Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes Excess (of course).

Lips: Mix MAC Morange Amplified lipstick with Buxom lip gloss in Sandy.

Nails: Paint nails with OPI Black Onyx and apply Dashing Diva DesignFX Bling Appliqués The Finer Things In Life on the last three nails on each hand. For the gal who doesn’t have the time or a steady hand to apply single rhinestones to your pretty nails, fret no more, you can easily add an appliqué in less than five minutes!

Hair: Start by curling your hair with a 2-inch barrel curling iron. Brush out the curls with a paddle brush and part on your most flattering side. Smooth the fly-aways with a styling wax. Below, I used Sexy Hair Stylesexyhair Control Maniac; I then held the look with Schwarzkopf Osis Freeze Finish hairspray.

Makeup:  Always start with a primer, it sets everything into place. I recieved an AMAZING primer as part of my birthday gift and fell in love. Cellabel Pearl Shining Primer is incredible and gives your skin a beautiful, subtle glow. Next, I apply Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation with a Beauty Blender sponge. Finally, I use Mac Soft and Gentle Mineralize Satin Finish to highlight cheekbones and the bridge of your nose.

Eyes: I Love Urban Decay Naked 2 eye color palette. To achieve my look below, apply the color Tease to eyes starting with more color on the upper lid and blending to less color on the lower brow bone. Also apply Tease below the lids. Add the color Foxy on the arch of your brow, then line your eyes with a bold eyeliner. Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner works like a fine tip pen. Line your eyes from corner to corner with a “winged” effect on the outer corners and finish off the eyes with Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes Excess mascara top and bottom.

Eyes: I thought it would be fun to do a smokey purple eye. To do this, use Stila In The Moment eyeshadow palette, which I love. Apply Glance on the upper lid, going darker at the base and gradually lighter towards the crease of the eyelid. Add the color Impulse and blend from the upper lid crease to the brow. Lighten the brow bone with Instinct.  Add Glance on the lower lash line and blend up towards the outer corners. Line the inside and outer lids with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Perversion.  Finally, blend Catalyst on the upper lid to give the smokey effect and finish off with Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes Excess.

Lips: Start with Buxom lipstick in Two Timer and add Buxom gloss in Trixie.

Nails: Apply Dashing Diva DesignFX Appliqués in Striking Gold; the fantastic design is reminiscent of Versace.
